Chelsea has eclectic taste in writers, from Margaret Atwood, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Shirley Jackson, to Liane Moriarty, Suzanne Collins, and Stephen King.

She writes short stories and novels that are speculative, and twisty. Her desire is to create captivating stories that draw readers in and transport them to another world.

Chelsea was recently awarded a scholarship to Australia's Faber Academy, where she wrote a novel under the mentorship of Kaaron Warren and J.S.Bruekelaar.

She lives on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, with her husband and two fiery young girls.
